The WiseInternet WiseShopper System uses ASP.NET and SQL Server technologies and includes the following pages and features.

Home Page:

Shop categories menu
  • Menu of shop categories.
  • Clicking a parent category in the tree menu will expand the menu and reveal the subcategories. [Dependant on the design]
Shop categories display
  • Categories can be displayed on the home page depending on the selected design. General information such as news and information about the company is often linked from the home page of shopping websites.
Main Feature Panel
  • The home page contains an editable area for adding text and images about products, promotions, specials and company information.
Specials panel
  • A left side panel is available to display selected line items as specials. Specials link to their respective product pages.
Feature Products
  • Feature products can be displayed underneath the Main Feature Panel. Feature products are selected from your product catalogue.
Company details
  • Company phone number and email address are positioned prominently, generally in the top right hand corner.
Links
  • Privacy policy, terms and conditions, contact details, general information pages and other links are positioned on the home page.
Customer login
  • A customer login panel is available so returning customers can enter the shop and order products and access their account and order details.
Newsletter subscription
  • A newsletter subscription panel allows new customers to add their name and email to your database and receive HTML emails about your products, services and promotions.
  • A keyword search form allows customers to quickly source product information.
Shopping basket
  • Catalogue websites that are selling product items have a panel displaying the current user’s shopping basket items, product pricing and order totals.
Category and Subcategories Page

Includes all of the home page items except for the Main Feature Panel and Feature Products

  • Shop category and subcategory menus.
  • Subcategory images.
  • Product Images [dependent on whether you have selected products for that category]
  • Template header and footer which include company details [e.g. phone and email, privacy, terms and conditions, site map]

Category/subcategory display
  • The catalogue categories and subcategories can be displayed with text, images and description according to the desired layout.
  • Categories can be displayed in one, two or more columns according to the desired layout.
  • Clicking on a category will direct the user to the subcategory list or product list when no subcategories are present.
Products Display Page

Includes all of the home page items except the Main Feature Panel and Feature Products: Product display

  • Display’s the complete list of products within the selected category.
  • Products can be displayed in one, two or more columns according to the desired layout.

Individual products can be displayed with all or some of the following items in the selected layout

  • Product code.
  • Bar code
  • Product name.
  • Product Image
  • Brief description.
  • Extended description.
  • Price.
  • Weight, height, depth, volume.
  • Options such as colour and size.
  • Stock level, in stock, out of stock status.
  • Delivery time for in stock and/or out of stock status.
  • Add to basket button for shopping catalogues.
  • More information link to single item display page.
Individual Product Display Page

Includes all of the home page items except for Main Feature Panel and Feature Products. Individual products can be displayed with all or some of the following items in the selected layout

  • Product name.
  • Product code.
  • Bar Code
  • Brief description.
  • Extended description.
  • Price.
  • Weight, height, depth, volume.
  • Options such as colour and size.
  • Stock level and in stock or out of stock status.
  • Delivery time for in stock and/or out of stock status.
  • Add to basket button for shopping catalogues.
  • More information link to single item display page.
Image display

Multiple images can be displayed in various layouts according to requirements.
Possible image layouts would include

  • Main product image
  • Image Library (click to view another image)
  • Slideshow.
Options display
  • All available options can be included in the page layout including supporting thumbnail images for options such as colour.
Document display
  • Multiple downloadable documents such as product PDF files can be linked and displayed in an area on this page.
Link display
  • Links to pages on other websites such as manufacturer websites for product information can be included and displayed in an area on this page.
Video display
  • Links to download videos will be displayed in an area of this page.
Related products display
  • A list of complementary products can be incorporated into the page layout.
Checkout / Payment page
  • The checkout and payment page uses the latest ASP.NET and AJAX technology to provide the website customer with a one-step process for finalising their order.
Delivery address and contact details
  • New customers will enter their delivery details. Where billing address details are the same as delivery details a new customer may continue without any extra steps. If billing details are different then additional fields are displayed.
  • Returning customers can choose from their previously entered delivery details. In most instances these would be pre-selected.
Delivery options
  • Where the website has been configured with multiple delivery options the customer will select the appropriate option for their order. Order total will be adjusted where applicable.
Terms and conditions
  • Terms and conditions must be accepted to complete an order.
Payment options
  • Where multiple payment options are available the customer will select one and process their order payment.
Process order payment
  • A pay now button or redirection to a payment gateway is displayed when the customer selects their payment option.
Payment confirmation and thank you
  • The customer is thanked for their purchase on screen and via email.
  • Details of the order are sent via email and available on screen.
Order invoice
  • An invoice (or pro forma invoice) viewable on screen and in PDF format for printing and downloading. Contact Page

  • Address, Telephone, Email and Facsimile are displayed on this page.
Enquiry form
  • An enquiry form with auto-responder that emails the website owner and user making enquiry.
  • Editable email message for enquirer.
Customer Details Page [restricted access]
  • Edit billing name and address information.
Delivery details
  • Add/edit/delete multiple delivery address and contact information.
Order status
  • Displays status of current and past orders including, payment status, delivery status and other information relevant to customer orders.
Order history
  • View details of all orders.
  • Reorder items from previous orders.
Website access details
  • Manage password, email and other website login details to access restricted areas of the website.
Privacy policy page
  • The content for the website privacy policy is displayed on its own page.
  • The content is editable in the website administration area.
  • Generic content is supplied.
Terms and Conditions Page/Popup Page
  • The content for the terms and conditions is displayed on its own page and also in a popup window as part of the checkout/payment process.
  • The content is editable in the website administration area.

Site Map Page
  • This page displays the website site map with page titles and links to those pages.
Retrieve Login Details Page
  • Page for retrieving login details.
Customer Registration Page
  • When a new user [a customer] has compiled an order for the first time, they will be asked to create a username and password. Returning customers are asked to provide their username and password.

Product category management:
  • Each product can be associated with multiple categories.
Product image management:
  • Each product has a default image displayed in up to 5 different sizes.
  • The number of images used in each size range is only limited by the product page design.
  • Image libraries may be created for every product. There is no limit to the number of images associated with a single product. This is mainly dependent on your website design.
Option management:
  • Select the option group (colour, size) and the option group items (blue, medium) for the product item.
Supplier management:
  • Products can be associated with multiple suppliers.
