ICE-EM - The University of Melbourne

The Client

The ICEMaths online shop is the first e-commerce website commissioned by the University of Melbourne. It sells products developed by The International Centre of Excellence for Education in Mathematics (ICE-EM), a University of Melbourne initiative, aimed at improving the mathematical abilities of Australian students. The University selected WiseInternet to implement online shopping into the current icemaths.org website.

The Brief

Ice Maths required a secure and convenient means of selling. As their products are aimed at both individual customers and schools, the online shop needed to provide a quantity discount matrix and automatically apply the relevant discount to bulk purchases.

The Solution

Melbourne University use the WiseShopper shopping cart software. ICE-EM did not require a redesign of their website. Our shopping cart software is flexible and the look and feel of the existing website is not compromised. We implemented quantity discount tables which clearly display to customers the savings available for bulk purchases.
