Managing spam on wiseinternet.com
Anti-spam software has been installed and is available to all wiseinternet.com customers using our private client hosting.
1. Turn on Anti-Spam
The anti-spam software must be activated for your mailbox and this may be done by logging into your mail control panel (see control panel access.) Select your email address, e.g. sales@wiseinternet.com.au, and check Instant Anti-Spam.
2. Managing Anti-Spam
Once activated spam emails will be quarantined in your Spam folder within Webmail (see picture below). Some emails that are not spam may also be mistaken for spam so you will need to login to Webmail and check your spam folder. Note spam emails are automatically deleted after 14 days so it is wise to check regularly.
3. Allowing emails through
For those emails that are mistaken as spam you can change your settings to allow these through. See the picture below where the arrows are pointing. To allow emails through click on the green arrow and click Add on the next screen to accept emails from this address.
Click on the Add button to accept this email. You may select the sender address, the subject or another string to determine that this email will be accepted and not recognised as spam.
